"Where do you hail from, Knight? What nations still remain in this place?" There is still tension in the air and August has not let his guard down.
Neither has the Knight, his hand remains firmly at his sword. "I am a knight of the Princess in Green. She is all you will find left between The City and the Yellow Queen's Keep. Outside of her court no one else still lives in this land other than the spirits - the rest have moved on to Paradise."
The Green Princess? One of August's old allies. August's tail falls back to its neutral position. Maybe there is no point in fighting this man. "I have come back for The City. What business do you have in the roadside chapel?"
"I have come to make devotion to The Saint. The shrines must not fall into disuse."
August scoffs at the Knights. He has never liked The Saint: that king and warrior from another universe. The devotion inspired in the Green Princess and her followers is not something he ever wants part of. Even his scion had once fallen victim to the wiles of The Saint, a fact he can not stand to this day. "I will not join you in that." He says bitterly.
"I would not have expected you to, God-killer. Good luck on your walk to the city." The way he says God-killer - is it resentment or perhaps disgust. August has been expecting that from the people here though. There is no use in denying the truth.
(A) Ask him what lies on the road ahead - So as to prepare for the journey
(B) Ask him to accompany you to The City - Maybe he wants to see justice too
(C) Stab him in the back as he enters the chapel - Perhaps what should have been done from the start
