August looks at the man, confused for a moment, but he knows that somehow that he is right. "So I'm Samuel," he says slowly "What does that mean?"

The man shrugs. "In this world he's a revolutionary or something. I never met him," he gestures at his surroundings as if August could make out anything clearly here "Got caught, so I guess now I never will."

There's something about that which seems reasonable to August, before he took his journey to Arcadia he had overturned the old Gods, built the city anew. If that's what being Samuel means then that must be him. "Well you've met me," he says, his tail moving back and forth like a pendulum "Is there anything I can do here to help you here?" He still isn't sure what here is.

"No, its over for me."

"You're dead?" August responds with indignance.

"Yep!"

Now slightly worried "Am I dead?"

He shrugs "I don't know, I don't think so. Can't you get back to where you came from."

August thinks about this for a moment before coming to the conclusion "Probably."

"Then you should go, I don't think there's much here for you."

(B) Offer comfort: If this man is dead maybe he needs it
(C) Ask about Her: Maybe she is still alive in this world, maybe there is a reason to stay for a while
